collected from you is used to deliver the services and products you have
requested from TFS. We limit the information we collect, use and
retain to that which is necessary to administer and supervise your accounts;
evaluate and manage risks; and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Our policy on confidentiality
prohibits any officer or employee from disclosing any nonpublic information
about our customers or former customers to any unaffiliated third parties that
has not been granted a legal right from the customer to receive such
information, except as permitted or required by law. Under no circumstances does TFS sell your name or other information
to anyone.
When necessary to provide all of the
services you request for your account, we may provide nonpublic personal
information about you to certain third parties, such as broker/dealers that
serve as a custodian of your account, or that may effect securities
transactions on your behalf, or to tax professionals, estate planning
professionals, or insurance agents.
Medical information may also be collected in order to process an
insurance application. All
disclosures are only made in order to fulfill our duties in fully establishing
and servicing your account or policy.
We restrict access to nonpublic
personal information about you to those who need to know that information in
order to provide services to you. We
maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with state
and federal standards to protect your nonpublic personal information.
